Restaurant and bar website design in London.

Your website is your front door after dark. Most guests meet it on a phone, already hungry, with little patience. We design, write and build websites for restaurants, bars and cafés that load fast, say plainly what the place is, and make booking or enquiring the easiest thing on the screen.

What a ZC Studios website includes

Structure built around real searches

Pages for what guests actually look for: menus, opening hours, location, booking, private hire and events. One clear job per page.

Writing in your voice

Headlines, menu introductions and about copy written for your venue, not pasted from a template.

Mobile-first design

Designed for the phone in a guest’s hand first, then scaled up for desktop.

Search foundations from day one

Page titles, descriptions, headings, local business data and image text set up properly before launch, not bolted on after.

Booking and enquiries

Connected to the booking system you already use, or a simple enquiry route if you do not use one.

Accessible by default

Readable contrast, sensible text sizes, keyboard navigation and descriptive image text.

A handover

You know how to update menus, opening hours and events yourself.

Built to be found.

Search visibility is not something we add at the end. It shapes the structure of the site from the first page.

Local search. Your name, address and opening hours should say the same thing everywhere: the website, your Google Business Profile and your listings. We make the website the source of truth.

Menus as text. Menus published as readable web pages, not image or PDF only, so guests and search engines can both read them.

Speed. Lightweight pages and properly sized images, because slow sites lose guests before they see the food.

Structured data. Behind the scenes we mark up your venue and opening hours so search engines understand what you are and where you are.

Honesty. Nobody can promise page one. We build the foundations properly and show you what to watch.

Who we build for

Independent venues in London that are better than their website.

  • Restaurants
  • Bars
  • Cafés
  • Lounges
  • Private hire and events spaces

If your food, your room and your regulars are stronger than the first impression online, that is the gap we close. If you are not sure how big it is, start with a venue diagnosis.

How a website project runs

01

Diagnose and plan

We review what exists, agree what the site needs to do, and put the scope and price in writing.

02

Write, design and build

Copy, layout and build happen together, so the words and the design fit each other.

03

Launch and hand over

We launch, check everything on real phones, and show you how to keep it current.

Questions we get asked

How much does restaurant website design cost in London?

It depends on the size of the site, how much writing and photography it needs, and whether a brand identity comes with it. We quote in writing after a venue diagnosis, which is from £400 and credited against any package.

Will a new website get us to the top of Google?

Nobody can honestly promise a ranking. What we can do is build the foundations properly: one clear job per page, fast mobile pages, menus published as readable text, local details that match your Google Business Profile, and copy that answers what guests actually search for.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the scope. We agree a timeline in writing before any work starts, so you know what arrives and when.

Should our menu be a PDF?

We recommend publishing your menu on the website as text. It is easier to read on a phone, it loads faster, and search engines can read it. A downloadable PDF can sit alongside it for guests who want one.

Tell us about your venue.

We’ll tell you, honestly, where the gap is.
